This newlsetter is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Andreas Anderstorfer, lecturer in Greek, Semitic languages and Judaism at the University of Regensburg. Andreas supported our work for almost 20 years, as part of his struggle against antisemitism and racism. He was a friend and partner, who died unexpectedly in July 2012.

Kantor Center News and Events

  • The Kantor Center will hold its 11th international bienniel seminar on antisemitism in Warsaw on October 15-17, 2012. The theme of this year's seminar is "Probing the Limits of Tolerance: Jewish Communities and Other Minorities Facing Antisemitism and Xenophobia."
  • Interns David Zolltan (Alice Saloman Hochschukle, Berlin), Kristian Ronneburg  (Humboldt Universitaet Berlin), Lina Hedwig (Maastricht University), and Manuel Abels (Action Reconciliation Service for Peace - Aktion Suehnezeichen) have departed Israel after spending various periods of times working on the Moshe Kantor Database.
