  • On July 9, Dr. Marcela Zoufalá, coordinator of the Academic Board at the Prague Center for Jewish Studies (Charles University in Prague), visited the Kantor Center to discuss posibilities for cooperation between the two institutions. 
  • The Center held a plenary session on "Antisemitism in Recent Decades: Research, Ideology and Politics" during the 16th World Congress of Jewish Studies, which took place in Jerusalem on July 29 -August 1.

  • Hold the date: On November 3-5, 2013, an international conference titled "Autonomous Histories and Studies of the Holocaust" will be held by the Wiener Library (Sourasky Central Library, Tel Aviv University), Kantor Center for the Study of Contemporary European Jewry (Tel Aviv University), Minerva Institute for German History (Tel Aviv University), the Arnold and Leona Finkler Institute of Holocaust Research (Bar-Ilan University), and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (Israel).
