Boston Terrorist Attack Perverted to Promote Jewish Conspiracy Theories

According to the Anti Defamation League on April 17, 2013, following the terrorist attack in the Boston Marathon two days earlier, which left 3 people dead and close to 200 injured, Jewish conspiracy and other extremist theories were spread across the internet. In the Arab media, the most conspicuous accusation against the Jews came from Jordanian journalist Asad al-‘Azuni, a known antisemite. In an article titled "The Boston Explosions – Look for Jews," published in al-Hiwar al-Mutamaddin on April 17, he wrote that the Jews and the "American right" were behind the attack, just as they were behind the 9/11 attacks. Framing his comments in a broader context, ‘Azuni referred to an alleged alliance of the Jews with the Nazis and claimed that they plotted together with Hitler to occupy Palestine and loot Germany.
